5 Bold steps canvas
Envision the future. Come to a shared agreement about what you are going to fight for together and the five bold steps you will take to get there. Created by David Sibbet of Grove International.

What it is
The 5 Bold Steps Vision Canvas, created by David Sibbet of Grove International, turns vision from a slogan into a plan. At its center sits the vision your team commits to fight for together. Around it, the canvas captures the themes and values that support the vision, the five bold steps that will get you there, and the supports and challenges you will meet along the way.
What you use it for
Use it when a team or organization needs direction it actually believes in: at the start of a transformation, after a strategy refresh, or when leadership alignment is more assumed than real. The canvas forces the conversation from 'what sounds inspiring' to 'what are we willing to do about it', which is where most vision statements fail.
How to work with it
Draft the vision together, out loud, and let it be argued over: a vision nobody fought about is a vision nobody owns. Then choose the five bold steps. Bold means uncomfortable; if every step feels safe, the vision is not doing any work. Finish by naming what will support you and what will resist you, and give every step an owner before you leave the room.
