The challenge

After years of steady growth, the three founders had expanded the team and set up a complete management team. The challenge was ensuring this Management Team was aligned to sustain business growth and achieve future goals to reach the vision 'Let's all cycle' and enable everyone to get on the bike and ride.

Our approach

BMI worked with the Management Team to co-create a shared 'dot on the horizon': clearly stating the company's vision and growth ambitions for 2024, enabling all employees to contribute to growth, and exploring new value-creation opportunities to expand the portfolio of business models.

The results

  • A shared vision and growth ambitions for the next four years, captured in a vision paper displayed in the conference room and communicated throughout the company.
  • Van Raam was nominated for the Koning Willem I prize for Dutch entrepreneurs making a difference in courage, perseverance, innovation, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
  • The Innovation Factory was built to further expand business operations and increase production capacity.
“Roland and Niki ask the right questions, which triggered us to look at our business and related topics in a different way. This kicked us out of our usual pattern of thinking and doing. That is really refreshing.”Marjolein Boezel, MT-member Van Raam

The method stayed with the team. It always does.
